Taipei County Government Delegates Cardinal Tien Hospital to establish the Government-owned but privately-managed:

Taipei County Ai Wei Mercy Home for Disabled

Brief Introduction¡@

Our objective
To carry out the spirit of the gospel, loving the Lord and people, respectful of life, our whole team provides care for the whole person, the whole journey of life and for the whole family.

Introduction
Due to the continuous involvement in long-term care, Cardinal Tien Hospital (CTH) has had a very good reputation,  that not only won the trust of the society but also positive affirmation from the government.
Taipei County Government has taken cognizance of the emergent need of the serious lack of institutions for caring for the moderately and the severely disabled adults.  In 1995 the government requested CTH to draw up a plan, and entrusted the management of Ai De Mercy Home to our care, so as to resolve the problems, burdens and difficulties of the families in caring for their disabled persons.  This was the first Government-owned but privately-managed institution in Taipei Hsien.  (Taipei County)
Because this model of management was very successful, Taipei County Government requested that CTH Yung Ho would also take responsibility for Pali Ai Wei Mercy Home.
On December 8, 1998, Ai Wei began to accept the applicants, and the official opening ceremony took place on May 25, 1999.
